Is Fasting the New Diet You Should Try? Five Reasons to Embrace it!
Almost every day, you get to hear about new weight loss programs that can promise quick weight loss. Intermittent fasting is another fat loss diet or way of eating that is a novel way of eating as it reduces your overall calorie intake by including periods of fasting and periods of eating. When you are eating during the eating periods, you need to choose eating whole and natural foods. But you can still eat normally without worrying about calories.
When you are fasting, you can drink plenty of water and other beverages such as coffee and tea. These beverages offer lesser calories and can help you in your fasting periods when you are supposed to eat almost nothing. This can also help in your daily calorie-counting. You do not have to worry too much about overall calorie consumption as you fast for longer periods.

There is not one but several methods that you can try when it comes to intermittent fasting methods, there is not one, but several methods that you can try. Each method offers different types of benefits and can help fit into your daily schedules. If you are someone who cannot survive without breakfast, then you can try fasting in the evening. For instance, you can have an early dinner and then fast in the evenings. Many individuals cannot go to bed on an empty stomach, and hence they have their dinner on the preferred time and skip breakfast. Choose a type that can work as per your body’s appetite and eating schedule. Instead of methods, you can try, so you can find one that works with your body’s natural appetite and eating pattern.
Should You Try It?
However, intermittent fasting isn’t for everyone, especially if you have a chronic condition. Just check with your doctor if intermittent fasting is right for you. However, many have felt a difference in their body when they have tried intermittent fasting for a significant period. How many hours you fast is completely dependent on you, whether it is twelve or fourteen or sixteen is something you decide according to your health needs or whatever fits into your schedule. It is advisable to start with a smaller number of hours and then gradually add more hours.
For us, the twelve-hour fast was the magic figure, and the best part, it was easy to follow. So, we started with what we regarded was doable. So we put down our fork at 7 pm and start eating again at 7 am the next day. It isn’t tough to follow if you put your mind to it.

Reduces Calorie Intake
Counting calories isn’t for everyone. Many people find it difficult to count calories. They stick to the stipulated number of calories as required for their bodies, the calories in and calories out a formula which may seem easy. But it’s not so easy to follow. So, in this regard, intermittent fasting can come in useful. It helps in calorie reduction, and when you eat fewer calories, you lose weight faster.
Increases the human growth hormone
The human growth hormone helps you lose the extra body fat and also packs in more muscle, and I believe it or not, it maximizes when you fast.
Helps the release of norepinephrine
Norepinephrine is an extremely effective fat-burning hormone that not very many people know about, and it also helps the nervous system transport it to your fat cells when you fast.
Promotes a better insulin response
Insulin is a powerful hormone that helps in better blood sugar control. When your insulin sensitivity decreases, you have poor control over your blood sugar and are at greater risk for chronic health conditions such as diabetes and heart disease. Research has proved that intermittent fasting has helped with improving insulin sensitivity.

What works for one does not work for another! So, follow a method that you can follow for a longer period. Once you get used to a particular eating schedule, you will follow it without much ado. You will still eat healthily yet not think about it continuously.
