Commuting may not be everyone’s cup of tea but it presents an opportunity to meet new people that may turn into friends once the ride is over. Unfortunately, this subway has a not-so-subtle hint about starting conversations with strangers, asking passengers to respect urban solitude.
In hindsight, this sign, said to be taken in Great Britain, is also a great reminder that not everyone is comfortable in people’s company and may prefer to travel in peace. This can be a problem for extroverts, which Very Well Mind described as people who are sociable, talkative, enthusiastic, outgoing, friendly, and generally talkative.
