At first, Mike and Jeff assumed someone had come to explore the ship and gotten stuck in that room. But seeing as whoever was inside the room couldn’t talk out loud, they imagined something terrible was happening.
Unfortunately, they didn’t have time to voice their opinion. Because some sounds were coming from below. The boys had been too busy trying to force the door open. So busy, in fact, that they didn’t realize a group of people had entered the ship. The sounds heard were a couple of men involved in an argument. And the men were heading their way.
