Derek dragged Mike down the stairs and into the room, dumping him on the floor next to Jeff and a tied-up woman. Mike was shocked to see his friend so beaten up. Thankfully he still had full control of his limbs and was strong enough to yell at him. “Didn’t I tell you to run?!”
Derek and his partner were not concerned with the boys’ sentimental reunion. “So you’re the ones who’ve been skulking around the ship, huh? You boys have no idea what you’ve gotten yourself into.” But luck was on the boys’ side. Because Derek had hardly spoken when they heard, “This is the police! You’re surrounded.”
