Mike and Jeff had shared many secret adventures throughout their friendship. So it was pretty easy for them to keep their plans lowkey. Their families knew they were avid scuba divers, so nobody thought it was weird for them to spend a day at the sea. But when asked what area they’d be diving in, the boys shared a false location.
They believed everything would go well if no one else knew about their plans. Fueled by curiosity, they packed their diving suit and other gear into a small boat and began the journey. The ship was far from the beach, so they left early in the morning.
