Michelle Thomas – Rare form of cancer
Mitchell Thomas was a household delight for many during her acting days. Her career blossomed at a very young age. She was particularly known for her works in television, specifically in her portrayals of Justine Phillips and Myra Monkhouse in The Cosby Show and Family Matters, respectively. She went on to capitalize on her fame from her television performances to land other roles such as the film Dream Date.
Michelle died on Dec 22, 1998, at 29 years. She went through a long battle with a rare form of cancer called an intra-abdominal desmoplastic small-round-cell tumor. Unfortunately, her well-padded bank account could not save the young actress. She will forever be immortalized in the minds of all who enjoyed her works.
