Vanilla Ice, 2015
The 35-year-old American rapper, Vanilla Ice, is solely responsible for creating one of the world’s most recognizable songs of all time – Ice Ice Baby. The groundbreaking song was released in 1990 on the album To The Extreme. Ice Ice Baby was the first hip-hop song ever to top the Billboard charts. He hasn’t had any great hit since then but continues to pursue a career in music.
In 2015, Ice was arrested by Florida police and was charged with burglary and grand theft after breaking into a home. The rapper allegedly stole items from his neighbor’s house. The home was furnished, and Ice thought he would help himself to some of the things in the home since it was unoccupied. After a nearly fatal suicide attempt, Ice visited treatment centers and turned his life around.
