In February 2022, Vladimir Putin’s troops launched an unexpected attack on Ukraine, leading to a series of events. The Ukrainian government declared martial law, forbidding capable adult males from leaving the country, while millions of women volunteered to aid the army and joined forces with men to combat the Russian invasion.
The courage of Ukrainian women who battled alongside their male colleagues on the front line drew global attention. Some even fought alongside their husbands to safeguard their country’s freedom, and some even lost their lives for the cause. Although their beauty was noteworthy, their bravery in the face of adversity was equally remarkable and inspiring.
