The Last King of Scotland actor, Forest Whitaker has become a household name for his acting. It isn’t uncommon for actors to have to lose and gain weight for their roles with Forest Whitaker being no exception after gaining 70 lbs in preparation for his role in the film before getting serious about his diet and exercising after filming had finished. The 48-year-old actor opted for trying new methods that seem to be very effective. Whitaker credits a vegetarian diet which he announced after appearing in an advertisement for animal rights group PETA. The diet boasts the ability to help the actor shed some weight along with preventing him from acquiring health issues such as diabetes. Alongside his new diet, Whitaker also follows an exercise routine of hiking and martial arts.
