Sometimes it takes two takes to understand nature, and this is undoubtedly one of those instances. At first glance, it’s easy to just assume that this is one freaky tunnel from the set of a movie. However, it is actually a tourist attraction that is one of the wonders of nature in Australia.
The site is known as the Waitomo Glowworm Caves and is well known for the abundance of glowworms on the walls of the extensive underground river system. Anyone who has been there can’t wait to relive the experience of a boat ride through the caves and the surreal sight of the twinkling lights.
