At first glance, everything is peaceful and normal in this picture. After all, what’s not normal about a man reading a newspaper with his friends leaning on the wall beside him? However, things get pretty complicated when we see the people walking in the background, and are they walking up the wall?
This is an illusion that these men created intentionally. The one with the newspaper laid on his back on the ground, and his companions also did so and propped themselves up with one arm. It makes it look like the people in the background are walking perpendicularly, and we must recognize the photographer for this perfect shot.
