Nature is always full of surprises. For instance, at first glance, this grassy patch looks like an oval-shaped park in the middle of a snowy street. That would be a surprise, but that’s not the case, as it is actually a work of land art by French artist François Abélanet.

The piece is a three-dimensional anamorphosis, a sprawling mass of grass and sand, and it was installed on the steps of the Paris City Hall, from where it looks like a large sphere. It was named “Qui Croire?—which translates to “Who to Believe?—and it took over ninety workers and five days to install.
