When the summer camp finally arrived, Timmy assured his mom that he would get the most out of the trip and would keep her updated with photographs and news daily. Seeing her son so ecstatic filled Stacy’s heart with joy, but she couldn’t help but feel anxious since he would be away for two weeks.
That would be the longest they had ever been apart since she had become a mom. She recognized this was an excellent prospect for her child, and who knew when such an opportunity would arise again. She knew she couldn’t be selfish, so she pushed this and fought off the urge to be too protective.
