DIY Was The Way To Go
Michael was determined to complete the transformation of his home by himself, with as little professional help as possible. He was especially pleased with the end result of his kitchen backsplash. He had a clear idea of what he wanted—dark wood flooring and white subway tiles with black grout—and was excited to bring his vision to life by DIY-ing it.
Despite his inexperience in tile laying, Michael was able to craft a beautiful, lightweight, and robust backsplash. While he admitted it was not his greatest work, it was indeed a remarkable feat for someone who had never done such a project before.
