Rachel Maddow happens to be the famous face of MSNBC’s show called Special Events with Brian Williams. Maddow is the show’s co-anchor and is openly gay – the first openly gay talk show ost, mind you. She is thus an influential figure in the LBGTQ community. She has been in a relationship for two decades with Susan Mikula. Rachel lives in New York, but she spends time with Mikula in West Cummington as well, between work.
The story behind their meeting is rather dramatic. Maddow was in the middle of working on her dissertation for her doctorate when Mikula hired her to do her yard cleaning. Well, she wound up doing a lot more than the yard work, that’s for sure! These two are now a happy couple, and their relationship seems promising – they look like they’re in it for the long haul, folks!
