Michael needed more space in his bus due to his height, so he had to raise the roof literally. He had the help of a few friends to cut it in two places, a daunting task that almost resulted in a huge disaster.
They got custom metal sleeves made to take the place of the old ceiling, increasing the height of the bus by 20 inches. Michael had hoped to add an extra 24 inches, but his friends thought that was too much and talked him out of it. The result was a bus with enough room for the man to live comfortably.
