We Need a Distraction
“I have a plan.” Once Mike heard Jeff utter those words, he knew his friend would suggest something near impossible. “We need a distraction to lure that man out of the room and release whoever they’ve tied up in there.”
“But it’s just two of us,” Mike muttered. “Who are you? Batman?” But Jeff wasn’t dissuaded by his friends’ doubts. He had complete faith in his plan. “Just take our cues from me. I promise this will work.” There were no other options. Mike had to trust his friend or risk getting hurt. He nodded and watched Jeff pick up a small rock.
