A ship that had remained untouched for a decade would have an eerie atmosphere. So while Mike had his guard up, waiting for something terrifying to happen, Jeff wrapped it up to paranoia and insisted they begin exploring.
The wood creaked as they stepped foot aboard. And even the sounds one hears at sea are somehow muted. All that could be heard was the constant creaks as they walked around and the sound of water dripping against metal. “Wow,” both boys exclaimed, entranced by the eerie majesty of the empty ship. “Maybe we should…,” Mike began, but Jeff had already left the room.
