Mike had been on the lookout while Jeff called the police. Once he noticed that his friend had stopped speaking, he turned around to ask him what to do next. Just then, he caught the latter end of the men’s conversation.
One of the men commented that someone else was on the ship with them. “Didn’t you guys notice the other set of footprints in the main hall?” The other voiced his agreement and said he would go check things out. Mike panicked once he heard this. But he didn’t have to give an explanation because Jeff had heard it too.
