Charles Quinton Murphy – Leukemia
If you know Charles Murphy, it might not be a surprise to learn that he is the older brother to comedy icon Eddie Murphy. Charles was an actor, comedian, and writer. Murphy was involved in the critically acclaimed sketch-comedy show, The Dave Chapelle Show on comedy central, as a writer and cast member. He went on to host his own sketch-comedy show titled Charlie Murphy’s Crash Comedy on Crackle.
Sadly, this talented comedian passed away at a relatively young age. Charles was only 57 when he died from Leukemia on April 12, 2019. Murphy had near-perfect comedic timing and a sense of humor that resonate with a lot of people. His death was a significant loss for the comedic world.
