Armie Hammer is an American actor who comes from a bloodline of oil tycoons. Hammer decided to follow a different path and became a world-famous actor. His first starring role was in the popular movie Billy: The Early Years in 2008. He continued a successful career acting alongside famous Hollywood actors including Johnny Depp in The Lone Ranger. His quirky and natural acting skills won him numerous awards including a Toronto Film Critics Awards.
In late 2011, Hammer was pulled over by United States Border Patrol at a checkpoint in Sierra Blanca, Texas. The actor was driving in his For U-Haul when police officers discovered .02 ounces of the illegal substance marijuana in his possession. Hammer spent a day in jail and paid $1,000 bond before his release.
