Nicole Richie was born into the spotlight. She is the daughter of famous singer Lionel Richie. When Nicole reached her teenage years, she started living a wild party life. She was seen hanging out with fellow socialites, Paris Hilton and the BFFs were given a reality show. The show named The Simple Life was a hit and viewers couldn’t get enough of Paris and Nicole’s witty comments and bad girl ways.
In 2006, Richie was arrested in Burbank California. The reality TV star was caught driving on the wrong side of the road. She was taken into custody and was charged with a DUI (Driving Under the Influence). After pleading guilty, the star confessed to illegal substance abuse as well. A bail of $15,000 was paid, and she spent 82 minutes in county jail. After the reality show ended the star had weight loss issues, and she is keeping a very low profile as of late.
