Ski Dubai was built by the Majid Al Futtaim Group and first opened its lifts to the public in 2005. Ski Dubai is an indoor ski resort with five slopes and three lifts. It sits about twenty-five stories above ground in the Mall of the Emirates. The level of challenge presented by each course varies. The world’s first indoor track Black Diamond is the most modern option. A Black Diamond course is the most difficult and complex course on the “mountain” or ski resort.
Ski Dubai’s 30,000 square meter snow park features an ice cave, toboggan runs, an ice slide, a snowball fight area and a penguin adventure exhibit for those who want something different from skiing and snowboarding. This ski resort keeps its indoor temperature between -1° and 1° Celsius all year round and offers ideal winter weather conditions.
