Johnny is one of the highest-selling musical artists of all time, with a total of 90 million records sold worldwide. He found great success in his career and amassed a large fan base. One of the contributing factors was his music, which spanned multiple genres, including country music, rock and roll, blues, gospel, and rockabilly. His filmography had something for everyone.
Cash managed to create quite a rap sheet for himself. His first arrest was in Texas in 1965. He was arrested while coming back to America from Mexico. Johnny tried to hide 1,163 Dexedrine and Equanill tablets in his guitar case. He was released as the substances were prescriptions, not narcotics. He was arrested again for picking flowers, the owner pressed charges, and Johnny cash had to spend the night in jail.
